Ordering, Payment, Shipping


For individuals and wholesale: Once you select items that you wish to purchase, they’ll be added to your Cart. You are under no obligation to purchase the items until you finalize the order and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Once the order has been completed, you will receive an Order Confirmation via e-mail within 24 hours. If you do not receive an e-mail, please get in touch with us right away at hello@smallbobbins.com. (Be sure to check your spam folder!)


All prices are displayed in Euros and include 21% VAT; relevant customers do not pay VAT. Shipping is not included in the displayed price; it is calculated separately during the check-out process. Payment can be made with the following methods: Bancontact, KBC Payment, Belfius Direct, iDEAL, PayPal, SOFORT Banking. Payments are made securely using Mollie.

If applicable, business customers can add their VAT number at checkout; eligible orders will have VAT removed.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipments are made by PostNL, bpost, DHL, or DPD. Options are shown based on weight and your location. Shipments made via bpost (the Belgian national postal service) or PostNL may or may not include tracking information, depending on which option you choose, and will be delivered to you via your national postal carrier.

For wholesale orders: if you have a DHL account you’d like to use, or would like to arrange for a different courier service, please e-mail Kirstin to discuss further at hello[at]smallbobbins[dot]com.

Orders are typically shipped on Mondays and Thursdays. We are currently shipping to the following countries:

We’re happy to offer free shipping (with tracking) on the following orders, no coupon code needed!

  • Belgium and Netherlands: all orders over €75
  • Luxembourg, Germany, France: all orders over €100
  • Italy: all orders over €125
  • Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom: all orders over €150
  • Norway, Switzerland: all orders over €175
  • USA, Canada, Iceland: all orders over €200

Deliveries will be prepared and shipped within 1-4 business days of when full payment is received.

The following shipping options are available:

  • Letter: small orders can be packed in an envelope and shipped without any tracking options.
  • Tracked: orders will be sent with tracking information. The link to track your package will be e-mailed to you after the package is shipped.

Local pickup is available! We are happy to arrange a time for you to collect your order, either during business hours at our headquarters in Sint Amandsberg (near Dampoort Station, 9040), or in Gent at Stroom Brouwers (Forelstraat 27, 9000). After your order is placed, Kirstin will e-mail you to arrange the pick-up.

Small Bobbins is not responsible for delays in delivery due to forces beyond their control (including strikes, weather, peak times, etc.), after the delivery has been sent in a timely manner. Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address and retrieving the package in a timely manner; if a package is returned due to Small Bobbins being given incorrect/incomplete shipping information, or due to non-delivery, then Small Bobbins will send a refund minus the cost of shipping. The customer will be responsible for placing a new order, if desired.
